KRL Logistics Limited is committed to the prevention of ill health and injury to its employees and other associated parties by implementing a robust Health and Safety Management System that continuously promotes and improves safety standards throughout the organization.

Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and the communication of a clear health and safety policy, together with the setting of measurable supporting objectives promotes a strong culture of awareness and understanding of our obligations throughout the company.

We recognizes the importance of good communication in order to ensure that everyone knows what they need to do to stay safe. The company also believes that the processes and procedures in place to support its safe systems of work will be more easily understood and more robustly implemented if they are practical and uncomplicated.

HOST COMMUNITY/ YOUTH DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

With experience garnered from working at similar establishments, KRL executive management will employ adequately qualified and relevantly experienced personnel from operational host communities. We will earmark a fixed percentage of our operating profit to assist and support government development efforts at various levels in these host communities.

LOCAL CONTENT POLICY COMPLIANCE

We have a deliberate “Nigerianization Policy”, by which we search first for Nigerians who can fill a particular position. We only engage expatriates to positions on a need-to basis and those positions that Nigerians cannot effectively manage. We are in total support of the Federal Government’s (Nigeria) Local Content scheme.
